A pint-sized emergency

The current series ends with a pint-size patient, a four-month-old Shih Tzu who's rushed in as an evening emergency after sustaining an injury. Noel takes tiny Ted to his heart and nicknames him ostrich, because of his endearing habit of hiding his head, before embarking on delicate surgery requiring extraordinary precision.
