Bristol-based multi-instrumentalist & rising star Conal Kelly is an exceptional ‘alt-pop meets indie’ artist that deserves to be at the top of your radar. Receiving praise from across the globe, Conal’s previous releases gained support from Jack Saunders at BBC Radio 1, Wonderland Magazine, CLOUT & EARMILK to name a few. Back with his finest work to date, ‘Really Don’t Like You’, Conal’s new release will be out June 18th.

Sharing his thoughts on the exquisite new single ‘Really Don’t Like You’, Conal explains, “To put it simply, this is a song about disliking someone for no apparent reason. I feel it's quite a relatable subject, where something about a person's behaviour just grates on you... in my case, clearly, enough to write a three-and-a-half-minute pop song about it. I managed to write and record the whole thing from start to finish on my own in 48 hours, and it really opened the floodgates for a bunch of other music that followed. So in that sense, I owe this song (and the annoying people it's written about) a thank you... but I somehow doubt I'll be reaching out to let them know.”
“Really Don’t Like You” is armed with addictive rhythms, uplifting instrumentation, and distinctive vocals that will instantly make you fall head over heels. Not limiting himself to one musical niche, Conal prides himself in his ability to produce and record entire songs independently from the comfort of his home studio. Adding to this, the multi-talented artist shares, “This is a song I wrote, recorded, produced and mixed all myself from home. It took about 48 hours to get the recordings/writing done, then a few more days of mixing! It was probably the quickest I've ever made a song from start to finish, so it seemed like a nice place to start with this new batch of music! I've always been a bit of a hermit when it comes to making music, very rarely will I work with someone else to get a track finished!”

With music flowing through his veins, Conal refuses to be limited to one specific genre. Whilst other kids his age were being brought up with Girls Aloud and Justin Timberlake, Conal had his headphones on listening to the likes of Marillion (due to his Uncle being in the band), Oasis, Massive Attack and many more. A force to be reckoned with, Conal creates music without any firm limitations. Living and breathing music, Conal Kelly is one of the hardest working musicians in the UK music industry and continuously gives his all release after release.

Innovative and an artist that ticks all the boxes, big things are to come for Conal Kelly.
