For Immediate Release: 2023 marks the launch of Altered Reality Entertainment’s new brand of pop culture conventions—Contropolis. The next stop on its inaugural tour is Marlborough, Massachusetts at the Royal Plaza Trade Center on June 16-18, 2023. This year’s Contropolis Massachusetts is presented by Cardi’s Furniture & Massachusetts.

At Contropolis, fans of pop culture will enjoy meeting stars of stage, screen, wrestling ring, and comic book page. Watch them on stage as they tell stories of their careers and experiences. Bring home a lifetime of memories with autographs from, and photographs with, your favorites. Shop for comic books and collectibles with some of the best vendors in the country. Cosplay favorite characters and compete for prizes at the event’s costume contest.

Altered Reality Entertainment owners and organizers Steven and Connie Perry are excited to welcome superhero legend Lou Ferrigno to his first appearance on the Contropolis tour. As an actor, Ferrigno is best known for his title role in The Incredible Hulk and vocally reprising the role in subsequent animated and computer-generated incarnations. He also appeared in Sinbad of the Seven Seas and Hercules, and as himself in the sitcom The King of Queens and the 2009 comedy I Love You, Man.

As a bodybuilder, Ferrigno won an IFBB Mr. America title and two consecutive IFBB Mr. Universe titles; and appeared in the documentary film Pumping Iron.

Joining Ferrigno on the Contropolis Massachusetts guest list are Amy Allen, Carey Jones, Chris Bartlett, T.C. Carson, Dorian Kingi, and Stephen Costantino from the Star Wars franchise, voice actors Jad Saxton, Marty Grabstein, Ray Porter, and Tia Lynn Ballard, Power Ranger Blake Foster, film actors Kristy Swanson, David Sobolov, Joey Lauren Adams, and Manu Bennett. Wrestling Hall of Famer Honky Tonk Man and convention fan favorites Gigi Edgley, Joey Fatone, and Jenna Frank are also slated to appear.

Contropolis Massachusetts is scheduled for June 16 to 18, 2023. Ticket sales and vendor registration is currently open at www.contropolisma.com. VIP, weekend, and daily admission are available. Children under 6 are free.
