Jon Statham grew up surrounded by music. His father had a job at a country music station where he would interview famous country music stars like Loretta Lynn and Tanya Tucker. It was clear to anyone who entered the Statham household that this family placed a high value on music. Whether it was his dad strumming the guitar and singing country and folk songs from the 30's and 40's, or his mom and siblings harmonizing to an Irish ballad for church, music was always present in their home. Over time, Jon has refined his singing, guitar playing, and songwriting skills, creating a style that pays homage to the classics while also offering a fresh perspective that advances the traditions of Southern Rock and Country Music. He has had the opportunity to work on countless recordings for artists from all over the world. Having lived and performed music in Boston, New York, and Los Angeles, Jon now spends his days in Nashville, where he focuses on writing the best songs around.
