Emma Stevens returns with the first in a series of brand-new tracks leading up to a full album release in early 2021.

Jump In is an unashamedly full production, upbeat song with a positive “just do it” message guaranteed to lift the spirits and inject some much-needed luminosity in our lives!

The track can be pre-saved to Spotify now at https://smarturl.it/JumpInES and one lucky fan will win an exclusive signed copy of the track on CD.

Cowritten with Brad Mair and brothers Matt & Theo Weedon, the track fuses multi-layered synths with her lustrously pure vocals and marks another evolution in direction for the singer/songwriter, perhaps best known for her love of all stringed instruments. Equally obsessed and astute at finding melodic hooks, Jump In manages to retain her trademark ability to write an irresistibly catchy tune.

Herself taking a leap in direction, which may come as a surprise to some of her fans, Emma says of the new track;

“I wanted to write a song that encourages people to take a chance on something new – it can be really scary to make a big decision but you never know – something amazing might come from it!”

An accomplished multi-instrumentalist with a string of successful singles and three studio albums in her catalogue, Emma indulges her many influences on the new material; “They’re quite eclectic! For Jump In, think Taylor Swift’s 1989 meets Haim with a twist of Gabriel Applin!” she says.

Although quite at home in the studio, Emma’s real passion is for performing to a live audience. Prior to lockdown saw her supporting artists including The Feeling and Sophie Ellis-Bextor as well as festival performances such as CarFest and Cottingham. Not to mention finding time for a two-week tour of China, where her music has reached a whopping 500,000,000 streams. More recently, regular live streamed shows have been enthusiastically supported by her fans. A full return to touring is scheduled for early 2021 and she cannot wait!

About

Bringing a refreshing glimmer of hope and an abundance of heart and positivity, British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Emma Stevens’ music breathes life and honesty. Emma connected with the guitar at the age of two, (and won’t be seen on stage without it!) and has gone on to learn bass, cello, piano, banjo, ukulele and mandolin. She has achieved four consecutive play-listed singles on BBC Radio 2, extensive international radio play in the UK, Europe and Australia, an iTunes single of the week with her song Riptide, sold out headline shows and supported The Feeling, Take That, Wet Wet Wet, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Train and Simply Red to name a few! Emma’s music has been used on many TV shows on BBC, ITV, Sky and Channel 4, and even featured on a TV show in China which was broadcast to 75 million people, gaining her over 500 million streams.

Since losing her Mum to cancer in 2012, Emma has dedicated her life to her music, writing messages of positivity, hope and love, and is re-establishing a lyrical connection with her audience – something seemingly so absent from an overcrowded marketplace, and in the process capturing a sound so unique, it’s purity inescapable.
