Genre-bending bass music artist Subtronics is bringing a state-of-the-art audio/visual experience to Red Rocks. Look for Subtronics, who was named “Best DJ” by DJ Mag for their 2023 “Best Of North America” awards, to display complete mastery of sight and sound with his fast-paced DJ skills and one-of-a-kind custom stage. He’ll be joined by special guests Delta Heavy, Level Up, Samplifire, Automhate, Beastboi., Sanzu and Inaktiv on Thursday, May 23 and Tape B, Ternion Sound, Grabbitz, The Caracal Project and Zen Selektra on Friday, May 24.

Prior to touching down at Red Rocks, this February find Subtronics embarking on his most impressive tour run to date as he brings the TESSERACT Tour to 13 cities over 16 unforgettable nights. The TESSERACT Tour will include special guest Wooli plus support from HEDEX, Saka, Jon Casey, Distinct Motive, Automhate, SuperAve., and Skellytn. Most recently, Subtronics teamed up with Excision for the bass juggernaut that is “Asteroid” as well as with electro-pop duo Phantogram to transform their modern classic “Black Out Days (Subtronics Remix)” into a drum & bass banger. At the end of 2022, Subtronics released ANTIFRACTALS–the follow-up to his debut album, FRACTALS, with VIP versions from himself and remixes from the likes of GRiZ, Zeds Dead, Virtual Riot, Peekaboo, Wooli, A Hundred Drums, and more. ANTIFRACTALS reached #5 on Spotify’s Debut Top Albums and #1 on iTunes Electronic Albums charts. Coming off the success of these releases, Subtronics is poised to bring his explosive live performance and mixing skills to Red Rocks for CYCLOPS ROCKS IV.

A love for SUBwoofers and elecTRONICS has brought us Subtronics. Growing up in Philadelphia, PA, Jesse Kardon aka Subtronics, had a passion for his drum set and Radiohead. While in high school, he discovered dubstep and was inspired to jump into the world of production. Fusing his unique blend of cutting-edge sound design with hard-hitting bass, Subtronics seeks to push the envelope. On the live front, he has built a rabid following with his high-energy sets and advanced mixing skills. He has released on Republic Records, Big Beat/Atlantic, Dead Beats, and more, in addition to his own label, Cyclops Recordings. A Pollstar 2023 Mid-Year Top 100 touring artist with notable headlines including Kia Forum, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Phoenix Raceway and Tacoma Dome, to name a few.
