West London rapper Podgy Figures' is recognised for his trademark hard-hitting lyrics and fast-flowing music, aiming to make a crowd dance but also provide a voice for those less fortunate and don't have a voice for themselves. His newest EP, Bread Life, released in March this year is no exception – providing eight new songs to add to his ever-growing discography.

The EP features collaborations with respected British hip hop producers Scrufizzer and Zeph Ellis. With the latter, Podgy Figures made the EP's best known track 'Mash Works' – a certified banger set for the summer with its emphatic production and dancehall-influence. With Ellis, the duo have closely worked together to create what the producer describes as 'rap for the UK youth'.

With the new EP making its rounds across British airwaves this year has been a busy one for Podgy, maintaining success with both his GingerBread record label and clothing label. As 2019 slowly nears to its end, Podgy has already started work on his next grand project – a short film based on a true story that is to see the light of day in the new year. Podgy Figures' name is one to surely keep in the memory banks for the new decade.

Bread Life is out now via GingerBread Records, available via Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms.
