Best friend duo Guy Horne & Rosa Leah are launching into the music industry with their debut single ‘Morning Light’ – an eclectic, radiant, feel good pop anthem for summer ’22.

‘Morning light’ harnesses the energy of unforgettable sunset sessions, and a love affair with music writing. Blending acoustic and pop tones and lyrics with delicately crafted melodies — this is an irresistible “song to sing along to in your car”.

Since meeting at a festival three years ago, Guy and Rosa have been inseparable in their journey to create music. Their deep affection reverberates in every line and note, sweeping you up in a sweet pop dream.

Two solo musicians coming together to create some musical magic.

Mancunian born and bred Guy first picked up a guitar at the age of 10. Influenced by local legends like The Stone Roses, Oasis, and Courteeners to name just a few, throughout his teenage years he was absorbed by the pioneering scene coming out of Manchester. Guy writes music to tell stories that resonate with listeners on a deep, emotional level.

Born in Yorkshire, based in London and raised across the world — Rosa’s time in the Deep South USA gives rise to Rosa’s blend of English Rose and southern soul. Often compared to Hannah Reid (London Grammar) and Florence Welch (Florence & the Machine), Rosa has a unique, ethereal character and wild vocal power that pierces the soul.

While Morning Light was born on the beach, this debut track is equally at home in the club given the catchy hook and laid back, feel-good summer vibe, with a remix by acclaimed musician Sebastian Perez set for release later this month.

Since the creation of ‘Morning Light’, the pair have written a number of songs and performed together at Wonderment Festival in the UK, plus a number of other live events across the world. Guy and Rosa are set to release a number of singles over the next year.

“After the upbeat vibes of ‘Morning Light’ I want to release more heartfelt and deeper tracks that pierce your emotions in a different way” says Guy. “Get ready for our next track to fill you with deep heartfelt melodies — you’ll want to close your eyes and really allow every note to sink in” says Rosa.
