Artist, TV Chef and presenter Big Zuu today announces the release of his brand new podcast, Feast Is Feast, brought to you by Global Player and Story Lab, a 10-part podcast series exploring the intricacies of our relationship with food across different cultures it will feature an all-star array of guest appearances from the likes of AJ Tracey,Craig David, Mo Gilligan, Yinka Bokinni, Nadia Hussain and Jermaine Jenas to name a few.

Launching with a trailer on Global Player and other major podcast platforms today, episode one of Feast is Feast is available on January 17th with episodes available every Monday thereafter. In each episode, Zuu and his guest will shine a light on celebrating different flavours, tastes, cultures, communities and generations coming together. The podcast will also probe societal issues relating to food such as being bullied at school for eating ‘different’ foods, gentrification, and cultural appropriation.

Zuu will delve deep to uncover how food has shaped the lives of who his guests are today. In each episode Zuu and his celebrity guest will discuss the role food has played in their lives from childhood to present day, mixing light-hearted conversation around food with conversations on a deeper level, exploring the memories and emotions attached with certain dishes and occasions. True to form and served up with a generous pinch of humour to each episode, Feast is Feast will unpick everything from school dinners, crazy family parties, unique traditions as well as awkward dinner dates.

Feast is Feast is the latest co-production from Global, the media & entertainment group, and The Story Lab. Previous co-productions as part of Global and The Story Lab’s output deal include the widely-acclaimed LBC podcast Hunting Ghislaine. Feast is Feast will also be supported across Capital XTRA on air, to its 1.7 million weekly listeners and followers on social.

The concept for Feast is Feast was developed by Global’s employee network, RISE, which stands for Representation, Inclusion, Safe Space and Education and supports Global employees from different ethnic, racial, and cultural backgrounds and allies.
