Capital, the UK’s no.1 hit music brand, today (Wednesday 21st February 2024) announced broadcaster and radio presenter, Jordan North, as the brand new host of Global’s flagship Capital Breakfast show.

This morning on Capital Breakfast, new host Jordan North was live on air, where outgoing host Roman Kemp introduced Jordan to the Capital Breakfast audience, and said:

“You are going to absolutely love this Jordan. I have so much faith in you mate. It’s hard leaving, it feels like your child, but you want it to go into good hands and I know with you it’s going to be just that. Everyone, send as much love as possible to Jordan.”

One of the fastest rising stars in broadcasting, Jordan North is joining Capital from BBC Radio 1, replacing Roman Kemp who is stepping down after 10 years with the station.

As well as previously presenting drive for Radio 1, Jordan co-hosts hit podcast ‘Help I Sexted My Boss!’, had a hugely successful stint on ‘I’m a Celebrity’ and is set to return for another season on ‘Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’, this weekend on ITV1.

Jordan joins Capital as the brand experiences rapid growth, with a huge 7.9 million listeners tuning in every week.

Jordan will also host Capital’s Summertime Ball in June 2024.
