ITV today announced new show Japandemonium; a fast-paced, action-packed series celebrating the very best and funniest clips from Japan’s iconic game shows.  

Produced by Zig Zag Productions, the 6 x 30 minute series will be voiced by radio DJ Melvin Odoom (The Xtra Factor, Strictly Come Dancing) and will air later this year on ITV. 

Japandemonium showcases clips from some of the most amazing and bizarre games ever to feature on Japanese TV. Coupled with clips from the insane and hilarious pranks pulled on celebrities and members of the public alike, Japanese audiences have enjoyed some of the world’s funniest and most elaborate hidden camera pranks ever to have been staged. 

Japandemonium has been commissioned by Asif Zubairy, ITV’s Commissioning Editor, Comedy and Entertainment. Executive Producers for the series are Danny Fenton and Andy Scott.
