Molly Marsh
Age: 21
From: Doncaster
Occupation: Musical theatre performer and social media creator

Why Love Island and why now?
I think it’s ideal timing and the perfect way to find someone. I don’t go out and party and I don’t use dating apps, I’m actually quite old-fashioned, so there’s no better way to meet someone by going into a Villa in the sun with the potential ‘one’ in there.

What do you think you’ll bring to the Villa?
I think I’ll bring fun, bubbly, energetic little sister energy. I’m up for a laugh, I’m spontaneous and adventurous, I hope I can bring a bit of light and positivity to people’s day.

What’s your ‘elevator pitch’ for why someone should want to date you?
I’d probably say I’ll make you a cup of tea every single morning and I’ll make you laugh every single day.

If there was one thing you’d want your new fellow Islanders to know about you, what would it be?
I’d want them to know they can always come to me as I'll want to help solve their problems.

Why would you say you’re single?
I think I go with my gut feeling and my gut is always right - that’s why I’m single at the moment.

How would friends/family describe you?
Mischievous, cheeky, weird and sometimes a bit of a bossy diva, I’m incredibly close to my family.

Best / worst date story?
I haven’t actually been on a date with someone new where you’re trying to get to know someone. I’ve been on trips with boyfriends. I don’t really have any good or bad dating stories, not yet anyway.

What gives you the ‘ick’?
Guys shouting at the television when they’re watching sports or the news. You’re not going to get anywhere with me if you’re shouting at the television.

Do you fall in love quickly?
Yes, I do fall in love quickly.

If you had to pick three of the most important things you look for in a partner what would they be?
A cheeky smile, a cheeky personality and someone that is family oriented.

Do you have any claims to fame?
With my job being in social media, I’ve had some amazing opportunities to go on press trips and I’ve actually been out to the Love Island Villa’s in Mallorca and South Africa. Having the experience to walk around both was amazing but to now actually live in the Villa is going to be incredible.

Tell us something not many people know about you?
I live on a farm with my mum, dad, sister, grandma, grandad, aunty, uncle, cousin, cousin’s husband, their baby and chicken.

This year marks series 10 of Love Island. Do you have a favourite show moment from any of the previous seasons?
I loved Chris and Kem’s rap. I fell for Kem as soon as he did his rap.

If you had to pick three celebrities to be in the Villa with you as fellow Islanders who would they be and why?
Joe Swash because I fancy the pants off him, Meghan Trainor and Adele.

If money was no object, what would be your ideal first date?
I like the simple things, I think I’d like a picnic by the beach and if money was involved then maybe we’d take a skydive to the beach
