Country And Americana Stars Line Up For The Long Road Festival including Carrie Underwood

The Long Road Festival is set to descend on the grounds of Stanford Hall in Leicestershire from September 7th – 9th, presenting concerts from some of the world’s biggest country and Americana stars including the likes of Carrie Underwood, Lee Ann Womack, Angaleena Presley, Una Healy, Billy Bragg, The Shires, Aaron Watson, Ward Thomas, Brent Cobb, Danielle Bradbery and many more.

Recent additions to the line-up include winner of ‘UK Artist of the Year’ at the 2018 Americana Artist Awards Emily Barker, Nashville-based singer-songwriter Erin Rae, who appears at part of UK label Loose Records’ 20th anniversary celebrations, and an array of acts that the Americana Music Association UK are bringing to the festival including Banjo Jen, The Luck, The Marriage, Case Hardin, The Southern Companion and Elles Bailey.

Amongst the organisations that The Long Road has partnered with are BBC Music Introducing, who have this week announced the rising star artists selected to perform on their stage, which will be fronted by legendary presenter of BBC Radio 2’s weekly country show Bob Harris. These include The Adelaides, Emma Moore, Little Folk, Painting Box, Jess Morgan, Cooper & Davies, Lexie Green & The Indigo Blue and The Lew Thomas Band.

Much more than just a music festival, The Long Road will embrace all aspects of the country and Americana scene and, alongside its live music offerings, will incorporate an array of themed activities including songwriters’ rounds, authentic down home cookin’, craft workshops, late night acoustic sessions, bourbon tasting, and dedicated kids’ camp Lil Possum County, providing festival goers with a unique, authentic country music lifestyle experience.

The Long Road will take place at Stanford Hall in Leicestershire from September 7th – 9th 2018. Tickets are now in final release phase and start at £45*, Weekend No Camping tickets at £99* and Weekend Camping tickets start at £125* (*plus booking fees).
