Claudia Rosencrantz and Adrian Woolfe are pleased to announce the launch of LIT, a cross-platform live streaming entertainment news network for the social media generation.

Launched on Monday, July 20 across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Indonesian streaming platform Kaskus, LIT is a fresh, reliable voice disrupting the entertainment news space. Launching with one hour live on air at 2pm-3pm ET / 11am-12pm PT from Monday to Friday, LIT will expand to become the world’s first live-rolling 24/7 entertainment news network.

Hosted by a launch lineup of Bradford How, Sloane Glass and Ruba Wilson, LIT aggregates and curates up to the minute entertainment news stories, breaks exclusive scoops live on air with original reporting, goes behind social media posts with insightful investigations, and recaps the top stories of the hour every 15 minutes. Reimagining live rolling entertainment news for multi-platform international broadcast, LIT is set to rapidly expand across additional social streams, OTT platforms and international markets in 2020 and 2021.

Rosencrantz and Woolfe first met more than 20 years ago through the development of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Rosencrantz commissioned Millionaire off-paper during her early tenure as Controller of Entertainment at ITV and later introduced the world to unscripted mega-hits Idol, I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here, Got Talent, Hell’s Kitchen and Love Island. Woolfe, as Managing Director of Celador International, was instrumental in building Millionaire into the first $1B global unscripted television brand.

“Navigating the tsunami of social content generated by celebrities is addictively time consuming so LIT has arrived to do that for you” said LIT’s Co-founder Claudia Rosencrantz. “Anchored by charming, witty personality-driven hosts who aggregate and analyse this output with humour and journalism, LIT brings gravitas to trivia -- All the tea, All the time.”

“We have big ambitions for LIT, which will be the first global 24/7 live-rolling network for up to the minute entertainment news,” added LIT’s Co-founder Adrian Woolfe. “We’re currently raising our second round of funding, and plan to expand quickly beyond social media streaming to AVOD OTT in major international markets ensuring LIT will be available on screens everywhere. We are already discussing distribution partnerships as well as innovative brand partnerships and bespoke integrations in the marketplace, so watch this space.”

Co-founded by Claudia Rosencrantz and Adrian Woolfe, LIT is a tech-powered media start up for the post-cable world, and is set to become the world’s first live, 24/7 entertainment news AVOD OTT broadcast network with rapid international expansion through 2020 and 2021.
