Today [Friday 23rd June] sees one of the British rap scene’s most versatile voices, MOBO-award winning artist Stefflon Don release “Move It”. The single is the first track from her hugely anticipated debut album ‘Island 54’ as it breathes new life into Reel 2 Real’s iconic 1993 release ‘I Like To Move It’ with production from the multi-platinum duo Space Primates.

Utilising the unforgettable hook from the original whilst interweaving a growling, high-energy bassline, ‘Move It’ sees Stefflon Don in full summer mode, sparing no punches as she spits her trademark flow over the infectious Space Primates production as they collaborate for the first time.

A track primed and ready for dancefloors and festivals alike, ‘Move It’ marks the rap sensations first release since 2022’s ‘Dem Dead’ and drops today, - the same day she performs on the iconic Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.

Speaking on the single, Stefflon Don said:

“Reel 2 Real’s ‘I Like To Move’ is one of the most instantly recognisable songs of all time, so it was an honour to have the chance to reimagine the original and bring my own flavour to it. I had a lot of fun creating the track with the gifted Space Primates, and there was little doubt that this was the perfect record to launch my comeback with. I wanna see you all move it this summer!”

Stefflon Don continues to cement her reputation as one of the world’s most versatile and vital voices with every release. Over the last year she released several acclaimed singles including drill anthem “Dem Dead”, “Clockwork”, a collaboration with the Queen of Dancehall Spice, and “The One”.

With all of the ingredients for a prime-time summer anthem, ‘Move It’ see’s Stefflon Don at the top of her game, showcasing all the energy and flavour we’ve come to expect from the Birmingham-born artist.
