"The Tonight Show" Goes for the Gold with an Olympic-Sized Show on Friday, July 23

Following the Opening Ceremony of the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, the excitement continues on NBC with "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Friday, July 23 at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Fallon will welcome Oscar winner Matt Damon, star of the upcoming drama "Stillwater," and Jason Sudeikis, who was recently Emmy Award nominated for his starring role in "Ted Lasso." The telecast will also include a special performance by global chart topper Camila Cabello, who will debut her new single, "Don't Go Yet." Plus, the world-famous band BTS plays a "Tonight Show" game with Fallon!

Additionally, spread throughout the Olympic coverage will be the "Fallon Five," five minutes of special "Tonight Show" content. The "Fallon Five" kicks off Thursday, July 29 and concludes Sunday, Aug. 8, the night of the Closing Ceremony. One special segment will include a new Olympic spin on the classic "Tonight Show" segment "Thank You Notes."

NBCUniversal will present an unprecedented 7,000 hours of coverage of the Tokyo Olympics this summer by utilizing two broadcast networks, six cable networks and multiple digital platforms, serving both English- and Spanish-language viewers, making it the biggest media event ever.
