HUNGER, Netflix’s film from APAC with the highest view hours in the first half of this year, has now added another feather to its cap. The Thai film won Best Feature Film at the 2023 Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) in Singapore, triumphing over a long list of other outstanding films from various ASEAN countries.

Directed by Sitisiri Monkolsiri and starring Nopachai ‘Peter’ Jayanama, Chutimon ‘Aokbab’ Chuengcharoensukying, and Gunn Svasti, HUNGER not only claimed the #1 rank on the Netflix Global Top 10 Films list but also topped the charts in 51 countries, reaching Top 10 in 91 countries. . With a total of 92 million hours viewed from January to June 2023, the film sparked the “Crybaby Noodles” trend that people couldn’t get enough of.

Previously, HUNGER also won three awards in the national round of the AACA, including Best Feature Film, Best Original Screenplay by Kongdej Jaturanrasmee, and Best Actor in a Leading Role, awarded to Nopachai ‘Peter’ Jayanama for his portrayal of Chef Paul.
