Netflix Wins 22 Emmy® Awards as Ali Wong Makes HistoryOFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY Netflix, Inc. Netflix won six Emmys at the 75th Annual Primetime Emmy® Awards on January 15th, including Outstanding Limited Series for BEEF. BEEF’s Ali Wong made history with her win, becoming the first Asian-American actress to win Outstanding Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie and the first woman of Asian descent to win an Emmy for a lead role. BEEF won a total of eight awards, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for Steven Yeun, and Outstanding Directing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie and Outstanding Writing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for Lee Sung Jin. Niecy Nash-Betts also took home an Emmy in the Limited Series or TV Movie category, winning Outstanding Supporting Actress for her role in DAHMER-Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. Queer Eye continued its record-breaking streak in the Outstanding Structured Program category, after winning for the sixth year in a row at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on January 7.
