Already generating buzz among audiences, the much-anticipated drama series When Life Gives You Tangerines (WT) is confirmed to air on Netflix. Featuring a stellar cast, including IU, Park Bo-gum, Moon So-ri, and Park Hae-joon, the series is set to showcase the talents of the renowned producer Kim Won-suk (Misaeng: Incomplete Life, Signal, My Mister) and screenwriter Lim Sang-chun (Becky's Back, Fight for My Way, When the Camellia Blooms).

When Life Gives You Tangerines (WT) chronicles the adventures of Ae-sun, "the remarkable rebel," and Gwan-sik, whose nickname means "unyielding iron," in Jeju Island, including Gwan-sik's long-standing crush on Ae-sun since they were young. The series' Korean title pays homage to the Jeju dialect, translating to "thank you for your hard work," lending cultural authenticity to the narrative.

IU (My Mister, Hotel del Luna, Broker, Dream) beautifully embodies Ae-sun, a determined rebel who continuously defies her fate, marking this as her second collaboration with producer Kim Won-suk.
