Avatar: The Last Airbender claimed #1 on the English TV List for the second week in a row with 19.9M views, reached the Top 10 in 92 countries and was #1 in 76. Buzz for the on-screen hit continued off-screen with #AvatarTheLastAirbender-inspired fashion, household chores, and even weather reporting going viral on TikTok. It was a big week for sequels across the film lists. Fans not only sent action thriller Code 8: Part II to the top of the English Films List with 20M views, they also pushed its prequel Code 8 to the list in fourth place (7.8M views). Not to be outdone, the final chapter of the romance trilogy Through My Window 3: Looking at You (Spain) took the top spot on the Non-English Films List (9.2M views), with prequels Through My Window 2: Across the Sea claiming fourth place (2.5M views) and Through My Window taking fifth place (2.3M views). Season 3 of Wrong Side of the Tracks kept the sequel trend alive, climbing to #1 on the Non-English TV List (4M views) and pulling Season 1 back onto the list at #5 (1.6M views). Tyler Perry’s Mea Culpa, the steamy thriller starring Kelly Rowland, took second place on the English Films List with 18.5M views. Johan Renck’s drama Spaceman starring Adam Sandler and Carey Mulligan, which recently celebrated its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival, debuted in third place with 8.8M views. Cupid kept his hold on the English TV List, with Season 6 of fan-favorite dating experiment Love is Blind claiming #2 (5.1M views) and One Day, the limited series adapted from David Nicholls’ beloved romance novel, taking #3 (4.8M views). Docuseries also had a moment, with true crime limited series American Conspiracy: The Octopus Murders debuting at #4, Season 6 of Formula 1: Drive to Survive skidding into #5 (3.8M views), and social media stalker limited series Can I Tell You a Secret following at #6 (2.7M views). Director J.A. Bayona's Society of the Snow (Spain), which is up for two Oscars® at this Sunday's ceremony, proved its staying power yet again, taking seventh place on the Non-English Film List in its ninth consecutive week.
