25 April 2024 – Netflix today announced a 16-episode order for an untitled Leanne Morgan scripted, multicam comedy, starring the popular stand-up comedian. The series is created by Morgan, Chuck Lorre and Susan McMartin. Additionally, Morgan will do two stand-up specials for Netflix.

Untitled Leanne Morgan Project Logline:

Leanne's life takes an unexpected turn when her husband of 33 years leaves her for another woman. Starting over when you're a grandmother and in menopause isn't exactly what she had in mind, but with the help of her family she will navigate this new chapter with grace, dignity and jello salad.

This marks Lorre's latest project for Netflix, following the critically-acclaimed and Golden Globe award winning series The Kominsky Method.
