Dublin-based artist and producer Evan Kennedy, the mastermind behind music productions for industry giants like Coolio, Tebi Rex, Versatile, Offica, and members of the legendary hip-hop group D12, is stepping into the limelight with his solo project. Following the release of his debut single, "Francis," Evan Kennedy releases his eagerly anticipated followup, "Pearphone,".

Evan Kennedy, a classically trained multi-instrumentalist, has spent his career crafting and moulding sounds for other artists. With an impressive credit list that includes a wide range of musical talents, Kennedy is now ready to unveil his own distinctive sound and vision.

"Francis," his debut single, provided a glimpse into the uncharted territory of his creativity. Now with "Pearphone," Evan continues to push the boundaries of electronic indie pop, presenting a captivating blend of styles that defy easy categorisation. Utilising contemporary pop elements blended with indie pop instrumentation, Kennedy crafts a sound of perky melodies coupled with a nostalgic lyrical take on adolescence.

Evan Kennedy explains the meaning behind the track further “It plays on the feeling of being a kid and staying up all night texting til your phone dies, even though your family is giving out about you never looking up, but they wouldn't understand because you're infatuated with finally having a phone and your own friend group and love interests etc.”

With the release of his latest single “Pearphone” Kennedy looks to the future with further releases in the pipeline as the already-established producer gears up to cement himself as a stand-alone artist. "I'm blessed to have worked with incredible artists in the past, but now I get to show you what I really sound like. It's a million miles away from what most people are expecting, but I like to keep it fresh, and it's where I'm at right now," exclaims Evan.
