Singer-songwriter Shannon Kohl unveils her latest offering ‘Withdrawals (One Night Stand). Known for her soothing vocal performances and tropical pop fusion sound, the Canadian artist showcases once again her ability to craft catchy, relatable music with her latest single ‘Withdrawals (One Night Stand)’.

Inspired by her own experiences ‘Withdrawals (One Night Stand)’ warns of the self-sabotaging behaviour people can succumb to when in a toxic relationship. The track takes a hindsight look at a relationship between Kohl and a partner who was stringing her along, prompting her to eventually cut ties and recognise her own self-worth. Backed by vibrant tropical beats coupled with Shannon’s silky vocal performance, ‘Withdrawals (One Night Stand) makes for an uplifting single with a universal message.

Shannon Kohl grew up in Toronto, Canada originally showing a strong interest in dance, participating in different styles including Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Lyrical which would later lay the groundwork for her extensive musical influences. Following the urge to pursue music in art school Shannon began to explore her vocal ability, after finishing school she moved to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica where the love of music is heavily ingrained in the local culture, giving the artist another touch point of inspiration. While there Kohl is currently collaborating with fellow musicians in the area and is working on creating her debut EP, slated for release in early 2024.
