‘Dead Days,’ Warren’s latest entry leans on Warren’s more rockier sensibilities. Once again enlisting the help of composer John Byrne and producer Joe Egan to deliver what is one of the most passionate and emotionally cathartic songs in Warren’s canon. Centred around the subject of an increasingly overdeveloped world where day-to-day life is being overrun by soulless innovation and passionless creation, Warren’s depiction of society is painfully true and will resonate with listeners across the planet regardless of background or circumstance.

Speaking on the track further Warren states “Dead Days is essentially a comment on inequality and stacked odds for working people in a society where the economic gap between the richest and poorest is only widening. With AI also a very real threat to jobs, art and how we understand and access truth/information, the song is essentially meant as a cautionary tale, written from the point of view of a "working man" in need of help and hope.”

Having already built a considerable reputation in his previous project ‘The Twenty,’ Colm Warren’s new solo venture is already turning heads, with a spotlight being drawn to his distinctive voice and his talent for composition.
