Kendrick Lamar on track for this week’s highest new entry on the Official Albums Chart

Over on the Official Albums Chart, today's Update reveals that the unstoppable force Ed Sheeran could notch up a seventh week at the peak with ÷

Kendrick Lamar's DAMN. is Ed's closest challenger, the highest new entry so far this week at Number 2, and set to become Kendrick's highest charting album since 2015's To Pimp A Butterfly which peaked at Number 1.

Three more albums are expected to debut inside the Top 40 this week; Tinie Tempah's third studio album Youth starts the week at Number 8, John Mayer's The Search For Everything is at 11, and finally, The King BluesThe Gospel Truth is eyeing up the Number 30 slot.
