Chloe is a multi- Award winning singer songwriter and harpist from the West Coast of Scotland. She draws inspiration from the natural environment around her as experienced at sea as a Navigational Officer in the Merchant Navy. Her purpose in music is to lend a voice to the modern day seafarer; to write a new chapter in maritime folk music. Chloe is Scottish Indian with cultural roots in the Punjab, Scotland and Wales. She has been featured on BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour, featured on TV in the BBC Scotland News programme, The Seven, as well as performing at Cambridge Folk Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe. Small Voyages Australia Edition is an album of nine original songs which includes a bonus track, “Towards the Hebrides”. This album documents Chloe’s experiences as an Officer of The Watch in the Merchant Navy which brought her around the world including Australia. The album will be available on all streaming platforms as well as in hard copies at her gigs, as well as through an Australian distributor. “Towards the Hebrides” is a song written about escaping the heat of the city, traveling out to the space and light of the Scottish Islands.
