PaulStar, the renowned indigenous artist, is set to release his highly anticipated single "Be Alert" from his upcoming album "Bring It All Together" via his label Meikin Records. "Be Alert" is more than just a song; it is a rallying cry for unity and solidarity among indigenous communities. Inspired by the recent discoveries of children's bodies during the searches at residential schools across Canada, PaulStar poured his heart and soul into this track, making it a poignant reminder of the ongoing struggles faced by indigenous peoples.

Reflecting on the writing process, PaulStar shared, "This song is very special to me. It brings my people together. Being an indigenous artist can be challenging, but we uplift and support each other. Our people's indigenous history is something we can't easily forget. We still face racism to this day. The discovery of the children's bodies during the search at every residential school in Canada is what inspired me to write this song; it was very emotional during the writing process."

Originally slated for release in 2022, PaulStar postponed the debut of "Be Alert" until he felt fully prepared to share its powerful message with the world. Now, as the lead single of his forthcoming album, "Bring It All Together," PaulStar is ready to make a resounding impact with his music.

"‘Be Alert’ was one of the first songs I wrote for this project to get things going," PaulStar explained. "I just wanted everything to sound as best as possible to wow the listeners. I went for the big sound, I did all the string arrangements on my keyboard. That’s why this is so special to me."

Through his music, PaulStar aims to amplify the voices of indigenous peoples and shed light on the political issues that affect their communities. "As an indigenous artist, I also wanted to amplify my voice for the indigenous people. We can’t just stay silent about the political issues. We have to stand together in solidarity, and support each other," he emphasized.
