Jusky’s New Track Rebels Against Body Fascism and Media Stereotypes
OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

Rising Brazilian pop and R&B artist, Jusky, is set to release his new single, Just Beautiful, a song written to promote the beauty within everyone, regardless of what people see. Inspired to write the song after someone told him his boyfriend at the time wasn’t handsome enough for him, Jusky is passionate that someone’s looks are not taken as the measure of the person within. With a video due for release showing people of all colours, shapes, sizes, backgrounds and sexuality, it’s a track with a universal message and an effortlessly cool late summer vibe.

Based in Porto Alegre, Southern Brazil, Jusky (Juliano Agertt), started writing songs based on his own experiences in life, a hobby which quickly became a passion...as his 600 tracks (and counting!) testify! Mixing his Latin background and the sounds from his childhood with influences from his pop idols, such as Michael Jackson, his music takes in romantic ballads through to R&B and anthemic dance, always with his inimitable charm. Having performed at London Fashion Week at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel and at clubs and venues around Brazil, Jusky is a natural showman and entertainer.
“No specific gender, race or social status are mentioned in my lyrics because differences are what make us beautiful. This song was written to promote beauty no matter the skin colour, body shape or any physical features. Beauty is far beyond what our eyes can see”.
