As the nation prepares itself for an extraordinary summer of cricket, former England captain Nasser Hussain aims to settle the age-old debate: will it be England; home to Bond, Corrie and Blackpool or will it be Australia; home to… Jason Donovan?

Filmed at Lord’s with accompanying soundtrack of Pelican by The Maccabees – a nod to Tailender Felix White – the 60” edit from Sky Sports pokes fun at the historic rivalry, by squaring off the nation’s most treasured exports against those of our Aussie neighbours (no pun intended).

From speedos versus budgie-smugglers, to conkers against boomerangs, Hussain bowls through a multitude of rivalries including Prime Ministers, actors and sports stars, while even putting a spin on the allegiances of the Minogue sisters.

This summer will be first time that both Men’s and Women’s Ashes are being played side by side in the UK, live on Sky Sports and NOW. So, while some may choose to holiday in Benidorm over Bali, or prefer Vegemite to Marmite, there’s one thing everyone can agree on this summer... and that’s that it's a brilliant one for cricket fans.

Nasser Hussain, Sky Sports Cricket pundit, said: “The rivalry between the two nations is what makes the series so special. I think the mind games – whether it's from Stuart Broad or the Barmy Army – is part of the reason why the contest is so compelling. Filming this has brought back memories of old battles and I can’t wait to be a part of the action as it unfolds this summer on Sky.”

As ever, Sky Sports Cricket’s award-winning team will bring fans closer to every minute of the action with a world class commentary line-up, technology to enhance the viewing experience, and all the stories from the players, teams and more.
