Take a first look at Danny Dyer (Eastenders, The Business) and Ryan Sampson (Brassic, Plebs) in an image from new Sky Original Mr Bigstuff. A six-part comedy about estranged brothers Glen (Sampson) and Lee, played by Dyer in his TV comedy debut. Mr Bigstuff is a relatable comedy created by Sampson, that explores broken families, brotherhood, manhood and carpet sales. The series will air on Sky and streaming service NOW in Spring 2024.

The image depicts the two estranged brothers; Glen (Sampson), a nervy perfectionist and carpet salesman striving to live the suburban ideal and Lee (Dyer), an alpha male with a prescription drug addiction and a biscuit tin full of their dad’s ashes.

In the Sky Original, Glen and his fiancée Kirsty share a perfect, perfectly mundane life together. Sure, Glen’s got crippling erectile dysfunction and Kirsty (Harriet Webb) has a secret shoplifting habit, but they’re happy. That is until Lee comes crashing into their lives, whilst on the run from a past that’s quickly catching up with him. The trio are forced together: a perfectionist, a fantasist and an anarchist all living under the same roof in an Essex cul-de-sac. It’s not long before their ‘perfect’ lives start to unravel faster than the weave of a cheap carpet.

Joining Ryan Sampson and Danny Dyer, the cast includes Harriet Webb as Kirsty, alongside Adrian Scarborough, Fatiha El Ghorri, Ned Dennehy, Victoria Alcock, Geoff Bell, Nitin Ganatra, Judi Love and more. The series will air on Sky and on streaming service NOW during Spring 2024.

Executive Producers are Anil Gupta for Sky Studios, Tom Miller and Sam Myer for Water & Power Productions, The series was created and authored by Ryan Sampson, Executive Producer Matt Lipsey directs with Hayley Sterling from Sky Studios producing.

Mr Bigstuff is one of a raft of new original and exclusive titles coming UP NEXT on Sky in 2024. Powerful stories centred around incredible characters that gets the nation talking; you won’t want to miss this incredible line up on Sky this year.
