PHOTO: Séamus Proctor (Considine), the local doctor, is a respected pillar of the community. He has a neat and well-ordered life, or at least he thinks he does. Soon he will find himself in the eye of a storm as a celluloid circus descends, threatening to blow open a secret he has been harboring since the Millennium.

Christina Hendricks (Good Girls, Mad Men) and Paddy Considine (House of the Dragon, The World’s End) appear in new images from Sky Original series, Small Town, Big Story. The three teaser shots depict characters; Wendy Patterson (Hendricks) and Séamus Proctor (Considine) as well as residents of Drumbán - a small town with a big story to tell. The images have been released to celebrate the completion of filming for the series, which was shot on location in Ireland including County Wicklow and Boyle. This warm, witty, and very dramatic comedy, created and directed by Chris O’Dowd (Moone Boy), is coming to Sky and NOW in Autumn 2024.

The six-part series is about a rural town of rattled misfits on the border of Ireland and another world, and what happens when a Hollywood production rolls into town, throwing a spotlight on a secret that’s been kept hidden since the eve of the Millennium.

Small Town, Big Story is a Sky Original series produced by Playground / FilmNation Entertainment and HotCod Productions in association with Sky Studios. Executive producers are Colin Callender and Scott Huff for Playground, Glen Basner, Milan Popelka and Stefanie Berk for FilmNation Entertainment, and Alex Moody for Sky Studios.
