Mutya Buena joins forces with Electric Pineapple

Mutya Buena has continued her journey in her solo career by continuing her partnership with production duo Electric Pineapple.

Their first collaboration Black Valentine is released today and available on all digital platforms.

Electric Pineapple are a London-based production duo comprised of Andrew Kingslow & Trina Smith. The pair have truly come into their own in the past few years, thanks to their successful production collaborations with M.I.A, Lily Allen, Future Cut, Tiggs Da Author, Shingai (The Noisettes), John Newman & more.

Andrew Kingslow wrote and produced all of the music for the BBC & BAFTA-nominated children’s TV show; Rastamouse, which aired 104 episodes. Kingslow also produced two albums for the show over its 4 year lifecycle.

He then went on to write the soundtracks for BAFTA-nominated BBC show Apple Tree House, now filming its third series along the following other TV & film credentials

● Composer for award-winning children’s TV show YolanDas Band Jam
● Co-writer & producer for the Sundance Film Festival’s award-winning documentary Nuts
● Shortlisted in two categories for a Clio Award
● Nominated for a British Craft Award
● His music has been synched all over the world from blockbuster films to award-winning ad campaigns

Electric Pineapple have their own studio within the Tileyard Studios area of London, rubbing shoulders with neighbours like MNEK and other chart toppers and they have plans for even more releases in 2020!
