Matan Caspi drops 'Common Ground'
Israeli techno producer Matan Caspi returns to Static Music with 'Common Ground'
Israeli techno producer Matan Caspi has returned to Static Music with 'Common Ground'; a genre defying club track that’s certain to turn heads during the summer festival season.
Clocking in at just over 7 minutes, 'Common Ground' takes the listener on a journey through the mind of the Israeli producer, merging influences from a culturally rich musical background into one track. There are elements of the Berlin techno scene; thick analogue synth melodies that dance over a well rooted and driving beat, but elements of Matan’s own culture peek through. Middle Eastern Sitar samples dance effortlessly within the instrumentation, providing extra melodies and pulling the entire mix together. The whole track is a merging of sounds and cultures, expertly produced by Matan, crafting a universally danceable record.
Beatport nominated best progressive house DJ for 2016, Matan Caspi continues his hot streak with a bunch of milestones in his career and is considered to be one of the most refreshing electronic music producers coming out of the Israeli underground scene. His productions always shine with a unique fusion of wide & diverse electronic genres; always delivering sophisticated beats, cosmic melodies, and driving grooves but most importantly, originality. His releases have been featured on some of the leading record labels; such as Universal Music, Anjuna, Spinnin' Records, Spinnin' Deep & Armada.
'Common Ground' is out now from all digital stores.
