The former Radio 1 Breakfast Show House Band ‘The Tailormade’ bring a taste of the Caribbean to their latest indie summer anthem ‘Rum and Red Bull’.
Fresh off the release of their latest E.P release ‘Life of Sampson’, which saw a string of sensational videos accompany it including the dating show ‘Take Me Out’ inspired ‘Mr Perfect’, the trio drop their latest release just in time for their tour alongside 80’s favourites ‘Madness’ and performance at BST Hyde Park with Michael Bublé.
Constantly lashing out surprises and creative flair with their twists on visuals, their new endeavors or their unstoppable drive; whether that be winning the ‘Best Buskers’ award from the Mayor of London or popping up on stage alongside Michael Buble, the trio have now taken inspiration from the unlikely form of Beenie Man and his classic track ‘Drinking Rum & Red Bull’.
Combining their cheeky personalities and lyrical delivery with melodic guitar riffs and a catchy drum-beat, it’s a track that has an immediate familiarity to it. Buoyantly detailing the peaks and troughs of a holiday romance, the Rum & Red Bull visuals, shot on a retro video camcorder, capture two young love-birds romancing by the seaside, capturing perfectly the ‘boy next door’ charm that The Tailormade have become synonymous with.
