The East London collective #Pound have made a strong return to 2019 with their new explosive track ‘Eyes Closed’ after the release of their debut album 16.12.18.

The slow-paced, sensual and exotic track takes over your senses with its rich melodies and mesmerising rhythm. The laid-back verse flow from Darkboi compliments the soothing chorus courtesy from Smxk£ laced with afrobeats and r&b vibes.

The trio dropped the video via their own channel and have previously been supported by tastemakers GRM Daily, Melody Kane, Yxng Bane and Don-E. Whilst still being relatively new to the scene, the guys have roots in music with Smxke a vocalist/songwriter/producer begun his music career at 15 teaming up with grime legend Gods Gift. Whilst Darkboi was part of ‘Boyz In The Hood’ recruited by another grime legend Crazy Titch.

Pound create music influenced by different genres and blend them together to create a unique, refreshing and colourful sound and ‘Eyes Closed’ is no different.
