TNT will showcase a pair of “farewell” matches this week as U.S. Soccer stars Julie Ertz and Megan Rapinoe make their final appearances with the U.S. Women’s National Team. Ertz – who will be officially retiring from professional soccer – will make her final appearance on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 7:30 p.m. ET, while Rapinoe will play in her final international match on Sunday, Sept. 24, at 5:30 p.m. Both upcoming USWNT friendlies will be against South Africa.

A two-time U.S. Soccer Female Player of the Year (2017 and 2019), Ertz is one of just five players to win both the U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year and the senior team award. Ertz, who played in five world championships on the senior team level, was a major contributor in helping the USA win back-to-back FIFA Women’s World Cups in 2015 and 2019.

One of the most iconic players in U.S. Soccer history whose impact off the field has matched her historic success between the lines, Rapinoe will end her international career on Sunday with 203 caps. Rapinoe played in four FIFA Women’s World Cups, helping the USWNT capture two World Cup titles.

Luke Wileman will provide play-by-play for both matches, while being paired with National Soccer Hall of Famer and co-commentator, Julie Foudy. The third member of the game crew – Melissa Ortiz – will report pitch side.

TNT’s coverage will originate from Cincinnati and Chicago, respectively, with a 30-minute pregame show – presented by AT&T 5G – and postgame shows. Coverage will also include the Halftime Show presented by Volkswagen. Sara Walsh will host alongside Hall of Famers and analysts DaMarcus Beasley, Shannon Boxx and Foudy.

Warner Bros. Discovery Sports is the exclusive English-language home to more than 20 Women’s and Men’s National Team matches starting this year. As the full broadcasting schedule is finalized, WBD Sports and U.S. Soccer will share the latest programming information as soon as possible.

In addition, Bleacher Report, House of Highlights, B/R Football, and HighlightHER will provide content to fans throughout the year, elevating the profile of the players and their stories with fans.
