In an exalted and awe-inspiring solo presentation at London’s chic and avant-garde establishment The Crazy Coqs, composer extraordinaire Randy Edelman showcased the soundscape of his career brimming with stories and musical sensibility and he KILLED It! The sold-out show entertained a congregation whose experience was transformed into an epiphanal event opening their hearts and minds. The lavished celebration was unveiled on August 5, 2023 and will be repeated in a Christmas extravaganza December 21, 2023.

If you examine Randy’s past you will find an exquisite woven design of exposed symbols like that on a treasure map leading to the path that points to his cannonade of destinations. As the awarded maestro of film and television he is known for such epic soundtracks as “Last of the Mohicans”, “Ghostbusters ll”, “The Bruce Lee Story”, “While You Were Sleeping”, “Gettysburg”, “Kindergarten Cop”, “Dragonheart”, “XXX”, the hit TV series “MacGyver”, and over 100 others. He has toured the world and having shared the stage with extraordinary artists including Frank Zappa, The Carpenters, Olivia Newton John and others.

Along the way Edelman has amassed an enormous catalogue of original hits covered by icons including Barry Manilow (A Weekend in New England), Patti LaBelle (Isn’t it a Shame), Nelly (My Place), Blood, Sweat, and Tears, Willy Nelson, Dionne Warwick, Bing Crosby, and many others. These were in addition to his own charting records “Uptown, Uptempo Woman”, “Concrete and Clay”, “Comin’ Out the Other Side”, “Pretty Girls”, and a parade of others.

For the past two years while continuously writing songs, adding life to the movies with his scores, and working on his musical “Short Cut”, Randy Edelman has been raising the roof and peeling audiences off the rafters in London, New York and Boston where he is set to be inducted into The New England Music Hall of Fame on September 30th. His debut at The Crazy Coqs was received as a unique and tenacious adventure, blazing with musical passion and with an irresistible and humorous intimacy.

Amidst the often granite sky and drizzling rain cloaking in the mist, The Crazy Coqs is located inside the Brasserie Zedel restaurant in the heart of Piccadilly. Fashioned in an art deco couture featuring an infusion of geometric and symmetrical opulence, the space invites all art forms including cabaret, music, theater, magic, comedy, and literary events.
