Josie Music Award Winning recording artist Irene Michaels has just released the Burt Bacharach / Hal David monumental hit, made famous by Jackie de Shannon “What The World Needs Now is Love” that is now celebrating a rotated radio air play on KISS FM and radio stations throughout the US. It’s release could not have been unveiled at a more apropos time with the violent and scary climate the world is facing.

We all must realize music has the power to change the world as exampling the impact of the freedoms songs of the civil rights movement, such as “We Shall Overcome.” The song broke down barriers, educated people, built empathy, and had a hand in ending segregation.
