The silver rain washed the diamond infused streets of New York City as the 2023 Get Out Awards were set to begin in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen. It would be a night of glamour and dazzling entertainment with a tapestry of Drag, music and awards presented by the number 7th largest and most popular/influential LGBTQ publication on the planet both in print and online.

The Get Out Magazine Awards Gala Extravaganza was produced and executed by illustrious publisher Mike Todd and the Get Out staff, and were designed to honor the LGBTQ community and those who support them. Those with special honors were given to the people who stood out as extraordinary. Included were: Singer/songwriter Desmond Child (Lifetime Achievement Award for Songwriting), world renown maestro Randy Edelman (Lifetime Achievement as Composer), the award winning singer Irene Michaels (Best House Music Award), Bob the Drag Queen (International Entertainer of the Year), Michael Musto (Critics Choice Award), Elvis Duran (Radio Personality), Madonna (Lifetime LGBTQ Ally Award), and World Star PR for LGBTQ Entertainment Advocate.

Since the inauguration of World Star PR both Jimmy Star and Eileen Shapiro have supported and celebrated the LGBTQ world of entertainment (Jimmy being gay himself and Eileen a certified fag hag).
