New York based independent label Tribeca Records owned by John”SohoJohnny” Pasquale is set to release an epic new album recorded live by world renowned composer, singer/songwriter, pianist Randy Edelman. The record is a 21 track triumph entitled “AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 MINUTES” by RANDY EDELMAN containing songs performed live in New York, Boston and London by the world acclaimed composer.

The album will include an array of songs with lyrics and music written and performed by Edelman, which has historically been covered by the most well known and prestigious artists the world has ever seen. Inclusive on this record is “A Weekend in New England” made famous by Barry Manilow, “Isn’t it A Shame” recorded twice by Patti LaBelle and Hip Hop superstar Nelly, “You” as recorded by The Carpenters, “The Laughter and the Tears” recorded by Dionne Warwick, “If Love is Real” recorded by Olivia Newton John, and “The Woman on your Arm” recorded by Bing Crosby right before he died. There is a wealth of history echoed within the tracks of these live recordings, everything on this album is relevant and in no way dated.

The album also contains medleys of Randy’s historic film and TV scores, including those from My Cousin Vinny, Billy Madison, While You Were Sleeping, Ghostbusters ll, Gettysburg, The Bruce Lee Story, Dragonheart, Last of the Mohicans, MacGyver and others. Edelman also includes his current hit song of hope and inspiration being played on radio stations across the nation, “Everything is Possible”, his first single ever “Uptown, Uptempo Woman”, and many other surprises including a song from a completely new album set to release later this year also on the Tribeca Record label.
