(The) Kevin North Band has just released a cover of “Never Trust a Man With Egg On His Face” originally recorded by music legend Adam Ant.

Loving the British Blues bands of the early `70s and then the punk explosion Kevin started to forge songwriting and playing live skills in London during the 80s later to be transplanted to San Francisco.

Experience gained from the early days performing live has resulted in a vibrant energetic live show incorporating rock, soul and folk mix, with Kevin North on vocals and lead guitar supported by the powerful Jeff Herrera on drums and tasteful Henry Mobley on bass, with enough hooks to hang your hat on. North, who described his style of music as alternative rock, primarily plays guitar, but he also plays bass, drums, ukulele, banjo and keyboard.

Renowned rock journalist Steffan Chirazi described Kevin’s playing:

“He’s like one of those crazy 70s guys Green and Kossoff in a big fight with Page and Cochran, and frankly, he’s too old to be pretending to be one of those wanky ‘guitar heroes’ no, he just wants to peel the notes, feel the notes and live the notes with whoever else is interested.”

The Kevin North Band’s new single “Never Trust A Man With Egg On His
Face” was produced by NO Mansfield from the Indie Psych Rock Band REVOLUSHN and is being released on Candy Gram Music.
