Less than 100 days to the opening of the doors, Rock In Rio Lisbon adds to an already stellar line up of the world’s biggest musical acts, revealing more names for the 2024 line up today.

Leading with American GRAMMY Award-winning rapper Macklemore, as well as R&B hitmaker Ne-Yo, rock n roll 5-piece Rival Sons and more, Europe’s home for the iconic Rock In Rio show just keeps growing. Returning to one of the UK’s most popular city break destinations, for a highly anticipated 20th anniversary year, Rock In Rio Lisbon 2024 is not to be missed.

With more than a few ‘songs of the summer’ under his belt, Macklemore comes with good time hip hop hits a plenty to Europe’s hottest capital. Completing the line up for the World Stage at Rock In Rio Lisbon on Saturday 22nd June, he brings irresistible hits like ‘Thrift Shop’, ‘Can’t Hold Us’, ‘Same Love’, and ‘No Bad Days’ from his latest celebrated album ‘BEN’, live for the first time in Portugal in 8 years.

Hailing from Las Vegas, three-time GRAMMY winner Ne-Yo is a showman who recognises the sheer spectacle of a Rock In Rio show and has a career that matches the iconic history of the festival itself. His debut single, 'So Sick', released in 2005, reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified four Platinum discs. Since then, the Motown Records/Compound Entertainment artist has been collecting hits on a global scale that have marked the R&B/Pop playlists of the 2000s, such as 'Sexy Love', 'Closer', 'Because of You', 'Miss Independent' and 'Push Back' (feat Bebe Rexha and Stefflon Don). The festival's 20th anniversary edition is expected to feature not only the hits that made him an R&B legend in the 2000s, but also more recent works, such as 'Self Explanatory', Ne-Yo's eighth studio album, released in 2022.

Heading to the new City of Rock for a heavy opening day on 15th June is California band Rival Sons - a band that have already shared stages with historic Rock In Rio headliners like Guns N' Roses and AC/DC and are now confirmed to headline the New Stage. Also joining the line up today, include the 20 year old British-born Canadian singer-songwriter sensation Lauren Spencer-Smith and ‘Si No Estás’ songwriter Íñigo Quintero who will both perform on the New Stage on 16th June, as well as the “Spanish Princess of Pop" Aitana who is set to open the World Stage on Sunday 23rd June.

Previously announced acts taking to the stage across two weekends in June between 15th, 16th and 22nd, 23rd, include Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, Jonas Brothers, Scorpions, Camila Cabello, Jake Bugg, Evanescence, James, Calum Scott, Lukas Graham and many more, for an eclectic four days of immersive fun to remember.

A new City of Rock will open its doors in Parque Tejo Lisbon for the first time, where 80,000 attendees each day are promised an unparalleled experience, offering an eclectic lineup that spans genres and generations.
