BBC Radio 5 Live is launching a fresh new-look podcast for the popular presenters, Elis James and John Robins, who are returning to BBC Sounds bigger and better for 2024.

Not content with releasing just one episode of their podcast each week, the comedians and best mates are now going to bring all the laughs, features, and unpredictable badinage that they've become well-known for, to two weekly episodes on BBC Sounds.

The first episode of the new look podcast, which picked up gold in the Best Entertainment category at the 2023 British Podcast Awards, will launch on BBC Sounds on Tuesday 6 February, with a feature-packed version airing on BBC Radio 5 Live on Friday afternoons from 1pm-2pm, ensuring that listeners can enjoy their favourite comedic duo wherever and whenever they choose.

The revamped podcast, produced by independent production company Audio Always, will be hosted in a fresh new studio where they will deliver everything from personal anecdotes to pop culture references and beyond, with the odd special guest joining them along the way.

The episodes will be full of laughter and fun as Elis and John navigate the ups and downs of life, with their unique blend of humour and wisdom, whilst ushering in some brand-new red hot #content along the way.

Presenter, Elis James said: “John is one of the world’s great polymaths, and when a mind like his is set free into the world of digital content, it evolves at around a billion times faster than technology can keep pace with. And that’s why our show has to evolve too. We’re so excited to spearhead a campaign for a fully digital Britain by 2032.”
