Taxi Waiting is the first release by 23-year-old Jazz singer Lucy Ellen Crunkhorn from Boston England.

Lucy studied Music and Performing Arts from the age of 12.

She has also performed as a member of the 'National Youth Music Theatre', at the Hackney Empire and the Adelphi Theatre London in the Musical 'Brass'.

Andrew Lloyd Webber has described it as ‘The best youth theatre in the world’

Lucy has a warm rich tone to her voice and an exceptional vocal range her stage presence and charisma leaves audiences mesmerized.

After leaving college, she began her career as a member of a professional World War 2 vocal tribute act.

The setlist involved songs that required tight multiple layered complex vocal harmonies, an area that Lucy loves and excels in.

She also worked as one of the female vocalists in a tribute to ABBA, again multi complex harmonic knowledge was a premium requirement.

Lucy is now stepping up to the microphone on her own with a new backing band Jazz 55 working with seasoned musicians including percussionist Preston Heyman and saxophonist Chris White and is relishing what lies ahead of her.
