US: BMG Artists and Songwriters Nominated for MTV Video Music AwardsOFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY BMG MTV recently announced the nominations for their Video Music Awards with multiple BMG publishing clients and artists receiving nominations. Fans can vote across 15 top categories and more here until August 23. The MTV Video Music Awards 2020 will air on Sunday, August 30 at 8:00pm ET, live from Brooklyn's Barclays Center. Clients receiving nominations include Evanescence’s ‘Wasted On You in the Best Rock’ category, co-written and recorded by BMG artist and publishing clients Will Hunt, Amy Lee, and Timothy McCord, ‘Stuck With U’, performed by Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber, and co-written by BMG’s Gian Stone, was nominated for Best Collaboration; ‘Intentions’, performed by Justin Bieber (ft. Quavo), and co-written by BMG writer Poo Bear, received a nomination for Best Pop; ‘Godzilla’ co-written by BMG songwriter Juice WRLD, for Best Hip-Hop; BMG songwriter Lewis Capaldi for Best New Artist; and BMG publishing client John Legend received two nominations in two timely categories, one for Best Quarantine Performance and one for Best Music Video From Home for ‘Bigger Love’, co-written by Legend.
