English rock band Suede have expanded their global partnership with BMG, adding recordings to their successful long-standing publishing agreement. BMG has been representing the interests of Suede songwriters Brett Anderson, Richard Oakes, and Neil Codling since 2013.

Alistair Norbury, BMG VP Repertoire & Marketing UK, said, “I'm absolutely thrilled because we have the publishing relationship, and we co-produced The Insatiable Ones film with Sky. So to now have the recordings [agreement] is really exciting, we want to be the right home for these iconic acts. It's an absolute pleasure, frankly, and it feels very confident and positive.”

As one of the biggest names in the Brit-Pop revolution, Suede have scored eight Top 10 singles and three Number One albums in the UK. Their 1993 self-titled debut album became one of the fastest-selling debut albums in almost ten years.

Their latest studio album The Blue Hour (2018), published by BMG, marked their first Top 5 record since 1999.

In 2018, BMG co-produced their acclaimed documentary The Insatiable Ones, which was screened by Sky Arts. It explores the highs and lows of the band’s career, with never seen before interviews and footage from the archive.

Suede have confirmed that they are currently recording new music and want their fans to play a part: They invited listeners to submit a voice recording following detailed instructions shared on their official Facebook page.
