US: BMG songwriters honored at American Music Awards 2022

​​​​​​BMG artists and songwriters were honored and showcased at the 2022 American Music Awards (AMAs) which has been dubbed the world's largest fan-voted awards show. Among the winners on the night was Swedish rock band and BMG songwriters Ghost with their fifth studio album Impera. The band won the award for Favorite Rock Album.

Of the win, Ghost took to social media to thank fans by saying, "From the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank all of you fans for all the energy, time and devotion you put into making sure we won the Favorite Rock Album at the American Music Awards tonight!"

The AMAs which took place this year at the Microsoft Theater at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, CA showcased a large number of BMG artists and songwriters throughout the event with highlights including a live performance of the Number One hit song 'I'm Good (Blue)' by Bebe Rexha and David Guetta, BBR Music Group recording artist Jimmie Allen and awards host Wayne Brady introducing a live performance from Carrie Underwood, and BBR recording artist and Favorite Country Song-nominee Dustin Lynch presenting the award for Favorite Music Video.
