Marking what would have been Dolores O'Riordan's 52nd birthday with a celebration of her achievements and life, was the announcement of plans to release an album of previously unreleased solo songs via BMG.

The announcement, posted via O'Riordan's social media channels read, "In the years before her untimely passing in January 2018 Dolores had been writing and recording new material for a third solo album. One thing that she always wanted, as most artists do, was to have her music released once finished. Sadly Dolores didn’t get to do so with these recordings."

The post continued, "With that in mind we are delighted to announce that we have partnered with BMG to release these unreleased solo recordings. We thought it fitting to partner with BMG for many reasons, not least because they released the last album that Dolores worked on while she was still with us (the 2017 Cranberries album, “Something Else”) and because she really enjoyed working with BMG at that time. Watch this space for further announcements in the coming weeks and months…"

With The Cranberries, Dolores O'Riordan released eight studio albums including 2017's Something Else and the posthumous In The End which would become the band's last album. The Cranberries sold over 40 million albums throughout their career and continue to be popular with existing and new audiences alike with their hits 'Zombie', 'Dreams', 'Ode To Family' and 'Linger' achieving over 2 billion streams on Spotify alone.
