Fantasy have topped the official German album charts with their latest release, Das Beste. The success comes just months after their album Mitten im Feuer reached Number One in January. Das Beste, which features 20 of the duo's greatest hits, beautifully re-imagined, was released on 22 September on BMG's Telamo label.

With six Number One albums and over two million albums sold, Fredi Malinowski and Martin Hein are one of Germany's most successful musical acts. Throughout their career, Fantasy have been nominated for five ECHO awards and have received numerous Gold and Platinum certifications in Germany and Austria. In 2022, the duo celebrated their 25th anniversary on stage.
