BMG and ADAN Impact hosted their first networking event following a partnership between the two companies earlier in 2023. The event, taking place in BMG's Berlin headquarters was intended to attract more BPoC to BMG and to introduce the work of BMG and its departments to prospective employees with an interest in the music industry.

Allie Bangura, Managing Director, ADAN Impact introduced the event and gave a short speech commenting on the importance of networking events such as this one to help companies attract more diverse talent but also to make accessible new industries to candidates from minority backgrounds.

Pierrot Raschdorff, Senior Director DE&I, BMG said of the event, "We are happy to be working closely with ADAN and to have been able to host our first joint event in Berlin. It is through networking events, such as this one, that we will be able to further elevate BMG's DE&I work and introduce new talent into the industry."

Attendees were able to hear from different BMG departments including HR/Learning and Development, A&R, International Marketing, and Data Analysis. On hand to speak to attendees were also team members from Royalties, Account Management, Synch, Communications, Business Development, IT, Mergers and Acquisitions, Office Management, Copyright and more.

The evening continued with music from BMG songwriter Bria The Artist who spoke about her experience working with BMG as a client for over five years before performing a series of songs from her upcoming EP. Encouraging the audience to get up and dance, Bria The Artist paved the way for the remainder of the evening.
